Deviation Actions
Literature Text
In the operation room you were sitting in the corner while Wesker and Birkin were debating about something quietly. They said nothing excessive, only watched some test results and had a conversation of them which were none of your business. Their actions were highly dubious but you made a promise for them when you decided to obey their rules and stand by their side. The sudden waking, broken memories and flashbacks, short-tempered guardians that were ready to kill you quickly even they didn’t know anything of you… almost everything was fuzzy. But one thing was clear: There was an unspoken reason for it all.
“Now we can start, miss. It’ll hurt a little bit but don’t be afraid”, Birkin said as he turned around.
He had a syringe in his right hand. It made you gasp a little bit because you remembered all atrocity you had met before your waking. Reluctantly you gave him your hand and he carefully sunk the needle in your arm, looking you in the eyes. You felt the cold substance running under your skin, invading your whole body. When the syringe was completely empty, he took it off and staunched the bleeding. He took a few steps back, observing you in a careful way.
After a ten harrowing minutes:
Birkin breathed a sigh of relief and started to speak:
”Project Z: No mutations or anything unusual. I think she is resistant...”
”Well, If that’s so... “
Wesker’s lips turned into a creepy smile as he watched you and said:
“…Then we're one step closer to our destination.”
Wesker turned around and left the observation room. Birkin opened the door and commanded you to follow Wesker wherever he goes, he was going to show you the room where you’ll able to be alone.
Wesker was waiting you right behind the door. You didn’t like the way he was watching: analyzing your every movement behind his sunglasses.
“…So? We’re going now, right?”
He didn’t answer immediately, just stare right into your eyes like he tried to take control of your soul through them.
“Following me of your own accord?” he asked with a slightly sarcastic tone in his voice.
“Well, I don’t want to fall into the hands of those guardians again.”
He chuckled lightly and took something out of his pocket.
“In that case I don’t need this right now.”
>>…Oh hell no!!<<
Your heart skipped several beats because this device looked like a dog training shock collar.
“But remember… I’m not afraid to use it. Let me just say that it hurts like hell.”
“FINE! I-I mean f- fine… Can we go now?”
“As you wish, young lady”, Wesker smirked, put the device back in his pocket and took a few steps forward.
After a long way throughout the halls, Wesker took a key card and opened a door into your room.
“Come in and have a seat. I have something to discuss with you.”
As you guessed, he wanted to make Umbrella’s rules clear to you. You weren’t able to leave your room without his or Birkin’s permission. Leaving without it would cause troubles with those twisted guardians, because a test subject that runs freely causes a serious risk of viral outbreak.
”Now I have warned you. I don't take any responsibility if you decide to disobey any rules... And remember: Do not disturb my work…”
You nodded and he watched you in a thoughtful way.
“You made a good decision, project Z. I knew you're intelligent creature”, he said, stood up and turned around to leave.
”Mr. Wesker... May I ask you something?”
He stopped everything he was doing, waiting your question.
”What am I exactly? Do I have name or am I just a Project Z?”
A deep silence fell upon the room. Wesker seemed to be lost in his own thoughts when he turned back and grabbed the doorknob. It seemed that he wasn’t going to give you any answers. You almost sighed in disappointment but for your surprise, he opened his mouth when he opened the door.
”____... ____ is your name.”
After that, he closed the door and all you heard was his lonely steps that echoed silently when he walked alone. Maybe he was going somewhere to continue other projects he had.

Day after day… Everything was the same. Birkin and Wesker took you with them and made many different experiments: vaccinations with unknown substances, followed your reactions, making you run and run almost beyond your limits. Somehow they managed to keep the real reason to keep you alive as a secret, but it was crystal clear that you were something special for them. That ‘something’ prevent them to treat you as badly as others because in a place like Umbrella’s laboratories being alive wasn’t something to take for granted. There were some other guinea pigs too, but many of them died because of the unknown reasons.
You knew nothing, they told nothing, and there was absolutely nothing in a life like that. You were so fed up with the lack of information, knowing this really wasn’t a life you were waiting for. You wanted and needed more and eventually, you came to a conclusion that only thing to reach your goals was to escape from this hell, even if it would cost your life. Being forever underneath the stars or being in a place like this with them? How easy decision. Wasting your time with this nonsense wasn’t an option anymore, so you began to make your escape plan.
And then, the remarkable day finally came. Circumstances were perfect for your getaway. After Wesker left your room, you prepared to make some quick moves. Problem number one was security cameras next to you room. Luckily, you remembered how they moved, so sliding by them was easier. Problem number two were those guardians, but at certain times of the day, some of them were on a break. You had also some successfully stolen clothes, so you looked like a normal doctor. Not everybody has time to remember who was who in Umbrella Corporation. When you were sure that the route was safe, you opened the door carefully and get out, trying to find the exit. For a long time, everything went swimmingly. You really were invisible among them. Suddenly, you had a strange feeling, like you had walked those hallways freely in the past. But that wasn’t your primary interest at that time. There was only one corridor left, which you hadn’t explored.
>>So the exit is here.<<
You walked faster. You were so close making it through the nightmare… So close, but…
“D-Doctor ______?”
Your heart skipped a beat as you gaze reached an unknown guy who had spoken up.
“DOCTOR ___! OH MY GOD! I thought that you were dead!! All these years…What has happened to you?”
You tried to calm him down, but it didn’t work.
“I’m so glad! But I think there’s someone who misses you a lot…”
>>Please don’t say it…<<
“DOCTOR WESKER!!”
>>OH MY GOD NOT NOW!!!!<<
You had to turn around quickly because his voice echoed through the halls and walls as he called him and run to the room where some of the scientists were hiding. Finding a place to hide was easier to say than done. You had a key card but for some reason it didn’t work. As you pulse raised higher than ever before, you noticed a door, slightly different than the others. Out of nowhere, a set of random numbers started to run into your mind.
>>Where did that came from…<<
You ran to that door and noticed a password screen.
“_____!” You heard Wesker shouting, snapped.
Distressfully, you tapped the code, hoping for the best to happen. For your surprise, that door really opened. You hopped in and locked it immediately. While catching a breath you leaned against the cold wall.
>>I hope he doesn’t find me right away…<<
You thought that the place you had reached was a good place to calm down for a moment. But when you opened your eyes, an illusion of peace were gone.
>>…WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?<<
Place made you gasp a loud, and there was a good reason:
The room was full of creatures... Creatures which looked like just like you. They were in their cells… in a deep sleep, like you were. It was hard to believe, that you were just only one of them. As you went back to the door, the situation got even worse:

About an hour later you both arrived at the station, should I get down? or should I wait here? Chris only has to turn in a report and then leave, so there is no real reason for me to get down, but if Wesker's there then I could ask him about my current job situation and try to make him ease up on Chris. Chris quickly parked the car grabbed his duffle bag and began to search for the report he needed. As he was searching you slowly unbuckled your seat beat and tried to move your self out of the car, Chris notice you escaping when you opened the door.

You quickly slammed the door and ran to your shirt that was crumpled on the coffee table. You were struggling to get in on, both nervous and embarrassed from the event that you were so graciously blessed with, you currently looked very similar to a four year old who was dressing themselves for the first time, one arm and head both stuck in your shirt, while the other arm kept waving back and forth in an effort to aid your trapped head. During your struggle you didn't notice the door slowly opening. Wesker chuckled at seeing you extremely flustered because of a you current inability to put on a shirt. He walked up to you and helped you

And finally it's here! I'm so sorry that it took so long, I've had so much things to do (thanks to the Upper Secondary School... I'm so happy that this is the last year..) and a huge lack of inspiration . I think that the next chapter will be ready sooner than this.
